PINK ROSES is a painting I donated to the Daily Paint Works Hurricane Sandy fundraiser. The proceeds of this painting went to The Salvation Army who helps with feeding the people who were affected by the hurricane.

DAPPLED LIGHT stream through the large branches of Californian oaks whenever one goes to The Corkscrew Café. This quaint restaurant lies in the heart of Carmel Valley Village, CA where the sun ALWAYS shines! And so I tried to capture it in this scene by juxta positioning intense yellows against cool blues.

The place is buzzing all day, every day and after spending lunch there, I just had to capture all the beautiful, earthy colors, dappling through the Californian Oaks!
