FRENCH WINDOW is such a lovely, warm and bright rendition of a calm and inviting French room, showing off an interesting blue room in the background. I love how the beautiful provincial couch beckon you into this interior scene.
Mrs. De Florian left Paris just before the rumblings of World War II broke out never to return. The flat was found untouched after 70 years and here I have captured a beautiful vanity which was found among precious art work including an unknown Boldini!!
FRANSE STOEL is such an inviting painting, beckoning one to enter and sit for a while! Cool blues are played off against a warm lamp and light highlighting the beautiful French chair.
FLEURS DE JARDIN is a painting of a few freshly picked flowers from my garden, beautifully opened roses and a few stems of lavender. I like the green curtain that opens up to the garden from where I have picked the flowers!
ROOI EETKAMER is such a beautifully, bright rendition of a French interior! I love the vibrancy of yellow sunlight set off against the cool purple shadows elsewhere.
LEMON REFLECTIONS is a vibrant painting of some freshly picked Meyer lemons from my garden. I love the play of fun reflections on the warm wood surface and the glimpse of light rushing through the window!
