THE CORKSCREW cafe is a quaint restaurant in the heart of Carmel Valley where you can taste Georges' wine and have THE BEST wood fired pizza's. The place is buzzing all day, every day and after spending lunch there, I just had to capture all the beautiful, earthy colors, dappling through the Californian Oaks!

My husband gave me this beautiful crystal vase for a wedding anniversary, maybe the only one he ever remembered!! I love the texture of the glass and reflections of the water and petals.

Did I say oranges are in season??? We went fruit shopping at Moss Landing on Sunday which is right on the outskirts of Salinas, the salad bowl of the USA....and where one can buy fruit in season for CHEAP...so hence more oranges!
